Elliot is an operations, finance and management executive with deep experience in growing organizations, improving profitability and creating value. His manufacturing expertise includes processing, adding value and distributing plastic packaging, food, textiles, metal parts and mechanical equipment on five different continents. Elliot has held a variety of President/CEO level positions throughout his career including most recently CEO of Sanku and President of Compax Packaging. He began his career as a strategy and management consultant at Monitor Group, now a division of Deloitte Consulting. He has served as an advisor to companies, foreign governments and trade associations on manufacturing, operations and growth strategies throughout his career.
Elliot received his MBA from the Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkley and Columbia Business School. He holds a B.S. degree in Economics from the University of Utah and also studies at the London School of Economics. He is an active member of the Young President's Organization (YPO).
Tom is the current President of Creminelli Fine Meats. Prior to this role, Tom was the CEO of Inovar, a leading electronics manufacturing firm based in the western United States. Mr. Carlin's executive management and operational experience spans over 15 years. Prior to Inovar, Tom was the President and COO of MSD Performance as well as the President of Edge Products, which was twice named to Inc Magazine's 500 Fastest Growing Companies. Tom joined Edge Products after a successful tenure with McKinsey & Company in both their Atlanta and Sydney, Australia offices.
Tom holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He graduated with honors from both institutions.
Jason has an extensive background in operations leadership, entrepreneurialism, strategy and investment banking/corporate finance. He currently advises emerging growth technology companies on mergers & acquisitions, growth capital, valuation and strategic partnerships. Formerly, Jason served as the co-founder and CFO of Dropoff, a successful early stage logistics company. Prior to this role, Jason served as the Senior Vice President, Business Development & Strategy with Schneider Electric and President of EFI Electronics. Jason began his career with RBC Capital Markets and later joined the Arthur Andersen Global Corporate Finance Group. In his career, Jason has been involved in M&A transactions totaling more than $6 billion in value. He received his M.B.A. from University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and holds a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
Patrick is an entrepreneur and Associate at Clavis Capital Partners where he is responsible for the firms’ due diligence, financial analysis, target screening and operational activities. He also oversees portfolio company management and financial reporting and is involved with deal origination and fundraising. Prior to joining Clavis, Patrick worked at TravisWolff where he helped launch TravisWolff Corporate Finance, an investment banking division, as well as performing various other business and transaction advisory and audit roles.
Patrick holds a B.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Baylor University where he launched and successfully ran a food service business. He is an active member of the DFW Private Equity Forum, he is a program committee member for the Young Professionals group of the Dallas chapter of the Association of Corporate Growth, and he sits on the Corporate Committee for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra as well as various faith and charitable organizations. Patrick holds both CPA and CMA designations.
Todd is the founding principal of Clavis, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm's investment, operational and fund-raising activities. Over his career, Todd has completed over 20 equity transactions representing in excess of $800 million of capital deployed. He has also held senior operating and strategic roles in manufacturing and industrial companies throughout his career.
Prior to founding Clavis, Todd was the lead partner responsible for the North American operations of a large European based investment fund. Todd's primary responsibilities were establishing and launching the North American effort for the fund and sourcing, structuring, financing and execution of new investments and opportunities.
Previously, Todd served as President and CEO of EFI Electronics, an industry leading manufacturer of electrical protection & power quality products where he led his firm to record revenues and profitability for four straight years. In 2009, EFI Electronics was awarded the prestigious Shingo Prize for Manufacturing. Prior to EFI, Todd served in various strategic and operating roles at leading firms such as Schneider Electric and Rockwell Automation. He started his career as a strategy and M&A consultant with Deloitte Consulting focusing on the electric & gas utility sector.
Todd received his MBA with honors from the University of Notre Dame and received his B.A. from Texas A&M University. He is an active member of the Young President's Organization, the Association for Corporate Growth, the National Association of Corporate Directors, and various charity, faith and angel investing organizations.
